JANUARY 2012:

MARCH 2011:
As I'm writing this today.  I am reminded of how in a few minutes life can change drasitcally.  Watching and listening to the news
of what has happened in Japan is heart breaking.

"Many things about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand......"

Many lives have already been lost.  I always think about .....Did they know Jesus?  Where will they spend eternity?  I think of
how can we be effective in telling people about Jesus.  The Gamlens want to bring HOPE to a hopeless world.  That HOPE is Jesus!

March 16th Shantell will celebrate her 13th Birthday!  Happy Birthday to her.  We are so blessed to have a daughter like her.  She
is such a inspiration to us. She works hard at her school work and is a straight A student.  She will always be our Miracle Blessing!

We have a few things going on this month.  Check our Calendar for those dates and times.
If you know of a church or a event that would like to have a group such as ours, please send them our way!  We would
appreciate it!

Thanks for all of your Prayers and Support!  Without them it would be really hard to walk this journey!  We covet them greatly.
We thank God for some answered prayer!  Jill's husband Jim is doing much better and instead of surgery now, they are going to
watch the "hot spot" for a couple of months.

"But I know Who holds tomorrow, and I know He gives HOPE!"

Blessings!

FEBRUARY 2011:
February is such a fun month!

Paul Michael and Janell just celebrated their 23rd Anniversary!  We can't believe it's been that long and then again… we can!  It's
also what we call the "Love Month".  Valentine's Day is for everyone, single or married.  And.....February means that Spring is
just around the corner and the days are getting longer!

We are so thankful for God's provision.  When you step out in Faith, it doesn't always mean that everything will fall into place.
There is battles, a testing time, and many questions.  But God is there holding our hand and He still leading if we let Him.  We
know this to be true!  We are still praying for a bus.  We have looked at several and have come across one that might be an
answer to our prayers.  We just need some financial provision to move forward  with this.  We know that nothing is too hard for
God!

We are excited about the
Gospel Hymn Sing this month, February 27th,  at the Living Hope Fellowship, in Bellingham.  We are
trying a new time for the winter...  It will start at
2:30pm. We hope that many will come because it's still light outside and you will
still have your evening.

Jill and her husband Jim have had some recent health issues and have had some mountains to climb.  Please keep them in
your prayers. We know that God is working in their behalf.

We are always looking for events or a church to sing and share our testimony.  If you know of somewhere would you please let
us know.

Because it's the "Love Month".  I would like to share 1Corinthians 13:1,13:
“I may speak in different languages of people or even angles. But if I do no have love, I am only a noisy bell or a crashing cymbal. So
these three things continue forever: faith, hope and love.  And  the greatest of these is
love.”

So....go out of your way this month to love on someone today.  It could be a smile, letting someone in line before you or a kind
deed.

Blessings to all…

Trusting in His never ending
LOVE!

JANUARY, 2011:
It's been a few months since the last update.  Actually 6 months.  I had good intentions, but lots of transition going on, so
therefore I didn't get the monthly updates done.

Paul, Janell and Shantell are now living in Arlington....as we say...".for now." We moved the first of September and had quite the
"whirlwind life" for a while.  Although we do live a lot closer to Jill now so it's much easier to get together and connect when we are
heading out on the road.

Shantell . . . is now in 7th grade at Cedar Park Christian School at the Mountlake Terrace Campus.  She was elected 7th grade
Representative. She is doing excellent in her studies. Working to get  straight "A's" on her report card.

Paul . . . is also at the Mountlake Terrace Campus working part-time as the Choral Teacher. It is quite the commute for them,
but we are hoping to move closer to the campus this year.

Janell . . . has been working part-time for her brother at Action Sports. Learning the different kinds of sporting equipment has
been a challenge, but enjoying talking to the public.

Jill . . . is in her 10th year working at Sehome High School.  She is truly light in the darkness there. She continues to share her
testimony of surviving cancer 3 times!  God is still in the healing business.

We are really excited about the New Year.  Because of the transition we have not been out ministering (or singing) as much as
we would like.

If you know of a church or an event that would like to have a group such as ours, please give them our contact information.
We want to bring "Hope" to people that have no hope.  We want to share that God loves them unconditionally.   We want to let
them know about Heaven, a place of no tears or pain.

We pray that you will have a blessed New Year in 2011.  We continue to look forward to the coming of Christ.....and then eternity
will begin!

JULY, 2010:
I guess it's about time to give you an update on "The Gamlens".

I am going to do my best to update every month or when there is special news to tell you....

...Here's what's happening now:

As you can see, we just updated our website.  Paul Michael has learned all kinds of fun things doing it.  I think it looks
amazing!!!  You can listen to clips of our CD's on the product page and or see the T-shirts we have for sale.  I really think it's
user friendly.  I think my mom could even figure it out!

Also, our new CD "Deep Hope" is available!  Already we have had much positive feedback with it.  People are giving them out to
encourage them of the message of "HOPE" for their lives.  We are living in exciting times, but life is hard for a lot of people right
now.  There are many with financial problems, or health issues and many other things.  So that brings me to the
contact page.
If you have a
prayer request and you want someone to pray, WE WILL!  This race that we are running is very hard and some
days seems up hill all the way.  There is nothing too difficult for God.

And....if you think of a church or a event that would like to have a group such as us, please let the person in charge contact us
and we would love to schedule a date with them.  We are not doing this just to do a concert, but to minister to those who need a
Saviour or need encouragement.

Right now, as I'm writing this, we have some real pressing needs.  We want to be obedient to the call of God, but at the same
time we are facing some heavy challenges.  Please pray with us.  This is our lively-hood, so whatever bookings we get is what
keeps us going and on the road.  If you feel led to give to "The Gamlens" ministry, we are a non-profit and can give you a
receipt.

...We are looking for a converted bus to travel in.  We are praying that God will provide the right one.  We thought we found one,
but it didn't work out.  God knows all of our needs even before we ask.

We are so thankful to God that He has kept us in good health and that He has protected us on the road thus far.  We have met
so many wonderful people in our travels.  People like you, are what keeps us going.  If you have any questions, please contact
us.  We would love to hear from you!

Safe, in the Palm of His Hands!

We hope your Christmas and New Year was a blessed one!

We would like to just share Saturday, December 17 we drove to Bremerton to sing at Abraham's House.  There was lot's of
excitment because  a few stores had donated over $4,000 of new items.  Clothes and Christmas decorations and more.
People shared their stories with us.  Tyna Munger, who together with her husband Jeff lead this great ministry,  shared some
real great truths in the service.  There is a wonderful place called Heaven, but there is also a horrible place called hell and you
need to decide today.  And that day as she often says "You could walk out these doors and drop dead in the parking lot.  Do
you know where you will spend eternity?"

Later the next week we received an e-mail from Tyna sharing with us that just after she said goodbye to us, someone came
and got her and said that a lady had collapsed in the parking lot.  She went over to pray for her, but it was too late.  The lady
had passed away!  We hope that she accepted Christ that day.  It really shows how much we need to ALWAYS giver people an
opportunity to accept Jesus has their personal Savior.  It spoke volumes to my heart.  What have you got to lose?

On another note we have a special prayer request for the ministry.  Our van was declared "Totaled" by our insurance.  It was
bittersweet to say goodbye to it.  We did get money from our insurance and Paul is now looking for another van.  Please pray
that we will find just the right one and one that is in our price range.   We have looked at several but either they are not in
good condition, not the right price, etc.  We really need an answer to prayer in this area, so we can back in full swing.  If you
might know of any one that has a Conversion Van (or bus - that's the big faith) that they don't need or want to get rid of,
please let us know.  God has been faithful, and we know he will continue to be.  Thank you for your prayers.

On a personal note.......I have had some prayers answered.  I am also amazed how God still answers even when I am
doubting or worried.  God has truly blessed us this Christmas Season, and we give Him all of the glory.  As I look back on this
year, oh yes, it was a tough one!  But I have learned that the scripture that says, " And God shall supply all our needs,
according to His riches in glory" is true.  It doesn't say all of our wants, but He does say He will give us the desire of our hearts.
The word of God this year has truly become alive to me as written in the song we sing "Deep Hope".  His promises are true, if
we just believe.  Paul and I did a funeral service for some dear friends last week that lost his father.  He shared John 3:16, if
you just believe, you can be saved!  It was perfect for that group of people.  The simple gospel message is all that people
need.

If you would like to support the Gamlens our PO Box is listed below.  If you know of an event or church that would like to have
a group like ours, please contact us at the e-mails below.  We continue to pray for open doors. I believe that time is running
out and there is an urgency to proclaim Christ and to encourage the saints.

Thank you for your prayers and gifts this year!  We do not take any of it lightly.

May 2012 be another amazing year to serve our Lord!
